WILSON, Nora Belle - Putnam

Roachdale-Mrs. Nora Belle Wilson, 76, a resident of Hendricks and Putnam Counties most of her life, died Saturday morning at her home in Roachdale. Born July 18, 1876, in Tipton county. Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of John W. and Lydia Lamb Merritt. She was married twice, first to George Granville Eggers, who preceded her in death, and to James Wilson, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Irene of Martinsville; three sons, Harold Eggers of Monclair, Ottie Eggers of Coatesville and Arley Eggers of Clayton; four sisters, Mrs. Anna McCloud, Mrs. Lizzie McCloud and Miss. Della Merritt, all of Roachdale and Mrs. Janie Madden of Rockville; three brothers, William, Charles and James Merritt, all of Pittsboro; 26 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Chastain Funeral home in Roachdale with burial at the Lizton Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Wheldon officiated. – thanks muches to mw
